ATTY. RODERICK F. ALBERTO

Roderick F. Alberto has been practicing law since 2007.  He concentrates in the areas of Immigration, Social Security Disability, and Elder Law. He was born and raised in the Jersey Shore.  In 2008, he married Mae Alberto (a nurse), whom he met while they were both students at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.  They have been blessed so far with 1 beautiful daughter, Thérèse, whom they are currently homeschooling. He enjoys playing and composing music for his biggest fans and captive audience (his wife and child) on his guitar. his ukulele, and various little instruments.  He also likes to learn from books (both paperback and Kindle) and from Youtube.  He likes to follow, but not watch, the ups and downs of different NBA teams in their pursuit to win a championship.  He and his wife, through the Diocese of Trenton, also give talks to engaged couples preparing for marriage.   Roderick, with the help of God’s grace and mercy, strives to work out his salvation with “fear and trembling” and and strives to live sacrificially in all that he does as a lawyer, husband, and father (Philippians 2:12; Romans 12:1-2).

• 2000 graduated from Rutgers College  with double major in Sociology/Psychology and a minor in Anthropology
• 2005-2006 studied & worked for the Penn State Law School Elder Law Clinic
• 2006 obtained law degree from Dickinson School of Law (Carlisle, PA) (an affiliate of Penn State) (with a specific focus in Elder Law)
• Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)
• Sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR)
